Most projects use basic art supplies many families already have at home, such as:

Occasionally we introduce fun mixed-media materials, but we always keep supplies simple and accessible.

Weaves in nature study as well as some projects include mixed media using leaves or twigs collected outside.
One child can be safely following along their art lesson independently while you work with another child. Great way to keep siblings busy, often once they finish a lesson, their creative juices and confidence is fired up and they will want to keep creating and stay in that creative state.
